BY REQUEST — This missing person was submitted via our submission form and is being created by user request. Although a police report may not have been published, we’ve been informed that police have been made aware of Wilma De Jesus Diaz’s disappearance.

ORLANDO — The missing’s Son is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 52 year old Wilma De Jesus Diaz out of the Orlando, Florida area.


Wilma was last seen on August 24, 2017.

Wilma was last seen by a former co-worker around 4:30 am inside the Orlando International Airport. On Wednesday, August 23, 2017 she traveled from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Orlando (with a stopover at Miami) and arrived on flight 39 from American Airlines at 11:50 pm (Terminal 4 / Gate 97). She called her son Joseph Lopez twice from a pay phone inside the airport around 7:00 and 8:18 am on August 24, 2017 and left a voicemail asking him to pick her up. Her son searched for his mom but could not find her anywhere in the airport. Wilma only speaks Spanish and has no other family or relatives in Orlando besides her sons Joseph and Jonathan (who live together). All her known friends and former co-workers have been informed of her sudden disappearance.

Wilma has Type 2 diabetes, severe depression, and started to suffer other mental health conditions (including early stages of dementia).

• ETHNICITY: Hispanic.
• HAIR: Reddish Brown.
• EYES: Hazel.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 2 inches.
• WEIGHT: 200 pounds.
• OTHER: Type 2 diabetes and severe depression.
